We appreciate the funding from Taco Bell Foundation, making it possible for us to participate in the New Strategies Rising Program, an advanced training program designed to help nonprofits serving underrepresented communities generate funds. Yvette Vogel, Director of Resource Development & Marketing, attended the conference in Washington, D.C. in November 2025. New Strategies Rising is conducted by Georgetown University’s Business for Impact. We heard from nonprofit and philanthropy leaders, Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business faculty, and our peers’ experiences on topics including cause marketing, earned revenue, data systems management, storytelling, and more.

This same week our team attended the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Southeast/Southwest Leadership Conference in New Orleans.
